end of year Armageddong spiel

The Evangelical Fortune Teller

There is a growing Christian cult of apocalyptic-evangelism, where the followers believe that “if this event happens then the end of the world and the Rapture is nigh.” That is what they say. So they are saying that the Bible says that the rapture will happen when Israel becomes a state and lo and behold! Israel is a state! And this thus confirms their faith in the story of the apocalypse.

I am not claiming to be an expert on the apocalypse, but I would just like for this to show how the power of suggestion is so much a part of prophecy and prediction, which is why I do not like this kind of prophecy and prediction. It contravenes the main premise of Faith, does it not?

The power of suggestion wrought by “prophecies” preached at us by mortal man is not suitable for our “trip” on this Bright Blue Ball flyin’ around in heaven called Earth. These Christians are the very people who tell us not to go to fortune tellers, yet they follow their “fortune-telling ministers” so blindly that it reminds me of the people who followed Hitler in such a way that I can not understand. And as much as I want to dismiss these people and their prophecies due to the fact that I am not as willing to “conjure up” Satan and Armageddon as they are, we have to listen to these people, because they bringing this “Apocalypse” on to us.

Oh I am not a preacher but I have a prayer…. That is that these people learn to listen more to their God than to their minister. That they learn to really tune into the Great Creator by praying with their hearts, rather than bowing down to the will of the fear-mongering minister.

When I see these particular evangelical churches en masse I see a bunch of people conjuring up fear…hate….disdain…negativity….Satan, and I don’t see much celebration of Life, Creation, Peace, Love, Understanding, Egalitarianism. And THAT my friend, is not a place for me to worship.

Of course Isreal has become a state. But why and how?

We were coming out of WWII, and when the world is at war with itself, and there is the threat of nuclear winter and the changing of the world as we know it, of course part of the Decision to make Israel a state back in 1948 is motivated by the biblical suggestion of Armageddon, is it not?

Folks need to snap out of it, really. They need step outside themselves and look from the outside to within, to what exactly these people are listening to at their churches, yea? Realize that the power of Suggestion is much different from the power of Faith. And these people need to ask themselves just why they go to Church. To listen to the “harbingers of death and destruction” or to Celebration God’s Creation, sit back, relax and enjoy the magic carpet ride on this Planet Earth.

These particular Christian evangelists state that the State of Israel is a necessary part of the Rapture, because this is where God and Satan will come to the ultimate battle, but don’t worry “God wins.” Now when these evangelists go to church they need to question whether the motivator of their life actions is Satan or God? It sounds insane to say this and this is why I don’t attend Christian churches, you know? But this is what they need to ask themselves, because they are motivated by the Power of Suggestion, rather than the Power of Faith.

These folks need to really really look inside themselves and ask some serious questions. The answers lie within all of us, for we are all part of God. We are part of the Creation story. Does the bible, which is NOT 100% the word of God dictate this much of our existence? I seriously doubt it.
